How it works

Seven editor steps from a photo to a finished clip. The draft saves itself and you can return to any step.

  1. Heroes

Upload a photo of a pet, a person or a thing (JPEG, PNG or WebP up to 15 MB) or take a demo hero. Pick eyes and a mouth from dozens of styles and place them on the photo — with a finger, a mouse or arrow keys. Add up to four heroes: one or two are free; the third and fourth need PRO. Live photo, Neural and Studio animation also need PRO.

  2. Dialogue

Write at least two lines, up to 240 characters each. Choose a hero and a pause after each line. Expression and delivery controls are available only for Gemini voices (PRO). The PRO assistant can draft a dialogue from your situation.

  3. Speech

The service voices the lines and shows progress for each one. Supertonic runs on our server, Gemini in the Google cloud — only the text is sent. Edit a line and only that line is re-voiced.

  4. Framing

Heroes together in one frame or one at a time, full screen. 9:16 or 1:1, photo crop and zoom — with a live preview.

  5. Montage

Insert photos or GIFs between lines for free. PRO adds title cards, transitions, camera controls, accents, text and stickers, sounds, music and automatic montage.

  6. Preview

Watch the scene with subtitles and check the timing. Return to earlier steps to edit or re-voice a line.

  7. Download

Export an MP4 in 1080p or 720p and download it. The previous clip stays available while a new one is made. Studio animation is rendered during export.

Without signing in you can build one draft — it lives in your browser. Speech needs an account: sign up with email and password or sign in with an email link, and the draft moves over.
